Finding another buggy, they begin to flee the collapsing cell. Unfortunately the cytoskeleton is breaking apart.
As the cell disintegrates and other cells come into view, Aerin and LOR manage to rendezvous with a pod from a rescue ship.
On board the rescue ship, Aerin receives a promotion. No nanobot has actually cured cancer before. Before the ceremony is complete, another carcinogen outbreak is reported. Apparently, this human has not yet adopted cancer prevention behaviors. As this story ends, Aerin and LOR are dispatched on another mission, to another potentially cancerous cell. Will the insanity ever end?
